It was my dream to return to Cinque Terre, a place we fell in love with on our Italian Honeymoon back in 2012, to renew our vows. I wanted to bring our whole family on an Italian adventure to celebrate this milestone. It was my first time planning an event overseas, and in small town Italy, it was trickier than I thought it would be.

They were both selected to be in the Leeds Scholars Program (LSP) and planned to major in accounting/finance. The two remained close friends throughout college and attended the same accounting classes, football games, and LSP events.

It was formed in honor of Carly and TJ’s late friend, Pete, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2012. The foundation's mission is to assist patients with ALS and their families with the overwhelming cost of home healthcare and to help make them as comfortable as possible. When the two finally met, they seemed to instantly click.
