As a part of Persian tradition, the groom is meant to not put anything on himself, so each one of his Groomsmen and our dads helped him put everything on from his wedding-day cologne (Xanaboud by Perfumehead) to his bowtie. My bridesmaids wore festive shades of pink, orange, and yellow with plenty of festive texture as a nod to Cabo.
Beyond the tropical-disco aesthetic, Allie and Juan put particular attention on the music, curating the eight different musical acts over the three days, including the groom, DJ Cuatro, Dominican pop-singer Nikola Santiago, and international DJs Pat Lok and salute. The bridesmaids wore designer Jenny Yoo in a mix of Whisper Blue gowns.

For my reception dress, I wore a 2016 Monique Lhuillier beaded mini dress that I got on Poshmark! field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]We didn’t have a traditional bridal party, but I have 2 sisters and they both wanted to match as my Maids of Honor! She was such a breath of fresh air in my dress shopping journey!
I tried to stray away from choosing extremely trendy elements, whether it be small details, color palettes, bridesmaids’ dresses, my hairstyle, and every detail in between. field] [field title=”Proposal Story”] In the fall of 2016, we met briefly at the University of Alabama.

Fast forward to the summer of 2016, which is when we officially started dating. Theres actual photo evidence of Riley and me at age 10 tubing together which weve tried to recreate many times.
