As a part of Persian tradition, the groom is meant to not put anything on himself, so each one of his Groomsmen and our dads helped him put everything on from his wedding-day cologne (Xanaboud by Perfumehead) to his bowtie. After the ceremony, I changed into a Spring / Summer 2016 intricately beaded Versace gown.

The monks quarters were later turned into offices but the main church sat empty until it was renovated and opened as an event center in 2016.
