On June 6, 2021, I was relaxing at the pool with my 10 year old daughter after working a long event the day before. The wonderfully trained lifeguards provided CPR until the emergency services arrived and transported me to the hospital. Less than 8% survive a Sudden Cardiac Arrest if they are not already in the hospital.

A true extension of Southern hospitality! It was on a Moda Operandi trunk show and wasn’t set to ship until August 2021. We wanted to make sure guests felt welcomed as most were from out of town. We were able to greet them as they arrived, and spend the evening sharing the best of the low country with them.

2021 is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more ready to start over. Instead, she headed back to Texas to begin working back to back shifts in the hospital. I’m hopeful that while 2021 may start off like your drunk college roommate, it will turn into your beautiful best friend who is always by your side. You can, too!
