Our dining tables played off of richer colors with our rentals, like our Forest Green linens, a fun patterned head table linen, and the rich deep brown stoneware charger to bring a nod to the dark, moody vibe of the dinner barn. We then brightened it up with bold florals and deep pink candles.

I found vintage peacocks at an antique store for the head table, and used them in my invites and wedding signage. I wore my grandma’s vintage clip on earrings that my mom wore on her wedding day. Once we moved in together after I completed grad school, I jokingly said I wanted to be engaged by the end of the year (December 2022). We moved in together in June 2022 and were engaged July 22, 2022. We both knew we would get engaged sometime after I finished PA school. My timeline worked! I was truly so surprised.
