The color blocking around the reception tied all of the headtable greenery in! field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]They went with an olive green variety of dresses to match the ballroom. An extra long custom bar served a “his” and “her” specialty drink in one of the wedding colors on display.[/field]

And at every sister’s wedding, they wanted a headtable to be able to share their first married meal with their family! The headtable had place settings set with Heidi’s mother’s china!

For the Headtable we will order velvet linens and design a living arrangement down the entire center of the table with brass candlesticks. Suspended crystal chandeliers above the center of the headtable, adorned with delicate florals. In addition, we use our optic glass votives and cermainc votives.

field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Groomsmen attire was quite the topic of discussion! She even sourced gorgeous silk white bows for the inner ceremony seats that were later moved to the headtable. With our wedding being a pink and navy affair, I wanted them to stand out in style.
We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. Lovelily Flowers over delivered in every area, but one of the top WOW moments was her headtable install we all dreamed up together. LBV Design House brought our vision to life flawlessly.
The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. I wanted the greenery to look like moss coming down to fit the theme of Bald Head and the Spanish moss. We had round tables throughout for our guests with a white Chivari chair.

One over the headtable & one over the incredible dancing area. The linens inspired the graphics for the invitation & paper products which inspired the dance floor & bar graphics to the chandelier moment above the headtable. Lighting was such an important element as well to warm up such a modern space.
The structure over the headtable was a little something special for the bride and groom and wedding party. Her fun reception dress was Carolina Herrera from Bergdorf Goodman. They brought our vision to life perfectly, it was a design request from the start of planning and really set the tone for the reception.
The headtables featured white jacquard linens, a favorite textile of the brides, and the guest tables featured an ivory overlay. I found vintage peacocks at an antique store for the headtable, and used them in my invites and wedding signage. I chose Mattie’s because of its romantic historic charm. And I fell in love with the venue’s roaming peacocks! I wore my grandma’s vintage clip on earrings that my mom wore on her wedding day.
We chose an all-inclusive headtable with our wedding party to allow us to take in the celebration feeling like we were amongst everyone we love. Each guest was presented with bespoke menus from Peak Event Services , and the headtable featured place cards nestled within small clay potted plants, hand-lettered with guests’ names by Pretty in Ink. Candles in varying shades of blue and green, potted herbs, and plants added character and allure to the tablescapes.

I loved the dainty and ethereal look of baby’s breath, which we incorporated into my bridesmaids bouquets, headtable runner and some tall “cloud” like table arrangements.
A band stage floating on heavenly hydrangea clouds, a curtain of tulips draped behind the headtable and a collection of carefully placed cherub statues had her well versed, NYC wedding guests gasping once they settled into their seats. My other bridesmaids went with different textures of sage dresses.
Anything that I could have dream up in my head was right in front of me, so we just built upon it from the pocket gardens on the headtable to the greenery attached to all of the existing bistro lights. Wrap it around the bouquets, use to decorate the wedding cake or memory table or use the backdrop for details shots.
