The bride, Easton, working with the team at Grove Designs , concocted a wedding weekend design that balanced elements inspired by the Lowcountry region with a contemporary twist. For both bouquets and compotes, the team at Festoon crafted organically shaped, whimsical floral design centerpieces and bud vases spilling with blooms and greenery.
The reception tables featured a mix of centerpiece styles for added detail & visual interest. field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”] The groomsmen were dressed in elegant, classic black-tie attire. They wore a tailored black tuxedo with a sharp, modern fit, creating a cohesive and sophisticated look.
The groomsmen’s suits were from BlackTie.[/field] field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]They opted to not have a cake, only a decadent dessert table.[/field]
field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]The groomsmens attire, along with that of all the male guests, adhered to the black-tie dress code. The styles ranged from fashion-forward suitssuch as the grooms fathers sleek black Dior tuxedoto timeless, classic tuxedos, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.
field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”] Our wedding was a black-tie event, and the groomsmen wore tuxedos from The Black Tux. I incorporated elements of my Asian heritage by mixing in red florals throughout the bouquets and centerpieces. Zack wore velvet loafers from Salvatore Ferragamo with his tuxedo.
Regis Bahia Beach[/field] [field title=”Florals & Decor”]The lush florals where created by the top designer on the Island, Emilio Olabarrieta, who is known for his one of a kind designs with dramatic centerpieces and the use of exotic florals you wouldn’t typically find in weddings.
This BlackTie luxe garden party emerged as a captivating fusion of classical sophistication and laid-back glamour, enveloping guests in an unforgettable experience amid a stunning, picturesque setting. Each arrangement captured the essence of the couples love story, blending sophistication with a fresh, vibrant spirit.
In addition to the traditional dinner centerpieces and expected arrangements, guests enjoyed a few surprises to delight the senses, including edible pansy garnishes in tray-passed champagne, and a colorful explosion of floral elements to highlight the cake display. To complement the soft pinks and yellows of the flowers, a pale blue color scheme was elegantly woven throughout their wedding design. Although we had announced it was a blacktie event, I said let’s just try going to suitsupply and see if maybe a color tux would help. We tried on a blue suit, and that didn’t work, but then he tried on their black tux, and it clicked! The surprise was when you cut into the cake for a rainbow of color!
I kept thinking back on wedding photos and the overall vibe aligning with classic brides like Jackie Kennedy and Grace Kelly. I opted for an optional blacktie dress code, which fit the overall vision I had for the wedding perfectly. It was the only proper setup for a cake that was so gorgeous!
field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]I simply told my bridesmaids to wear a blacktie navy dress. They filled the grand staircase at Villa Erba with a mass of white and green florals and candles on either side to create a truly stunning grand centerpiece of the dance floor.[/field]
Men are expected to wear afternoon suits and women are expected to wear nice dresses that are less formal than evening gowns but more formal than sundresses, suits, or skirts with a blazer.
