The design included everything from an embellished tree stump arrangement to direct our guests to the ceremony site to an exuberant arrangement of baby’s breath as a focal point to our ceremony. We customized the dress with shoulder straps for the ceremony, which later came off for the reception. And it was fun to wear a second dress.

For my reception dress I paired it with a simple badgley mischka heel and understated earring. I wanted something that would be the complete opposite of my ceremony dress.

I loved the way the straps almost blended into my skin, so that the sleeves looked like part of the dress, as opposed to a jacket, and when I took the jacket off during the reception, the dress didn’t look like it had straps, but had all the support. Luckily, the two stunning venues are only about a 5 minute drive apart.
