The design included everything from an embellished tree stump arrangement to direct our guests to the ceremony site to an exuberant arrangement of baby’s breath as a focal point to our ceremony. Our favorite baker in Athens is Cecilia’s Cake Shop.

Originally, we purchased a tux from another designer online, but when he put it on at home, we both were underwhelmed. Although we had announced it was a black tie event, I said let’s just try going to suitsupply and see if maybe a color tux would help. His search was not as simple as we had expected.

We wanted to keep all arrangements low to underscore that, while the wedding was black tie, the event was family focused. Andraya Northrup, lead designer and owner of FLORA, focused all arrangements on petal heavy blooms with whimsical textures. Leave formality at the door. Simple, yet impactful.
