The only requirements: black and full length to match the BlackTie dress code. She trusted her friends to choose their own dresses. She aimed to highlight her friend’s dynamic personalities with various fabrics (think: silk, velvet, tulle, chiffon, sequin etc.), diverse styles, sleeves, and necklines.

Although we had announced it was a blacktie event, I said let’s just try going to suitsupply and see if maybe a color tux would help. We tried on a blue suit, and that didn’t work, but then he tried on their black tux, and it clicked! His search was not as simple as we had expected.
I opted for an optional blacktie dress code, which fit the overall vision I had for the wedding perfectly. The firstlook was the first moment that day that it hit me: Our wedding day is here, and it is real. I wanted every moment to be extremely elegant and classy but also dramatic and glamorous.
From the initial sketch hand drawn by Lihi Zwillinger to the firstlook with her groom, the gown was executed to perfection, and made the bride feel her most elegant self on her wedding day.[/field] The formal black-tie ensembles on the grooms party, contrasted with the vibrancy of the bridal party, was striking.[/field]
We wanted to keep all arrangements low to underscore that, while the wedding was blacktie, the event was family focused. It just so worked out perfectly that the setting was ideal for their firstlook on October 28. Leave formality at the door. The change signified the start of the party.
