The dance floor lended to the center sofa where the bride & groom would sit, which was drenched in beautiful florals against the skyline of downtown Miami in the background. The groom also rode in on a horse to kick off the wedding day, which allowed guests to dance and proceed alongside the groom into the ceremony.
Held at a private 1920s Mediterranean-style mansion with expansive ocean views, we wanted our guests to get a taste of classic elegance at this black-tie event. The vision for the day was inspired by fine art details and a custom floral toile print and custom crest designed by Jenny Olsen of Studio Wren & Co.
The bride stunned in her embroidered mini Zimmerman dress and the groom looked suave in his Suit Supply garb. The only requirements: black and full length to match the BlackTie dress code. Although we knew we wanted it to be a formal black-tie event, we still wanted it to be upbeat, bright, and not all too serious to reflect our personalities. We wanted the aesthetic of the wedding to reflect the landscape and personality of Sea Island, as well as our own, so it was lots of bright color and cheeriness!
