And at every sister’s wedding, they wanted a headtable to be able to share their first married meal with their family! The headtable had place settings set with Heidi’s mother’s china!
Guests were seated at two headtables spanning the family living room of her childhood home, and additional seating continued on both the front and back patios, as well as around the family pool.[/field] She prepared a family style dinner to be served to each table, featuring the bride and groom’s favorite dishes.
While our groom described himself as a “Jeans and a T-Shirt” type of guy, our bride loved all things rich textures, velvet, and dressing up which led us to a day where casual & comfortable met formal & fancy. There were special local beers that were specially chosen by our groom. For the reception, we brought the botanical garden indoors with plenty of florals for each table. For the headtable, we chose to create a simple greenery design for a natural touch and surrounded the front with plenty of tall floral arrangements.
Wonder Cake Creations Sarasota made a custom Groom’s Cake in the shape of a Cabo Arch, which featured Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Filling. field] [field title=”Special Detail #3″]Special guests of the headtable received hand painted shells with their names on them, adding a beautiful coastal touch to the tablescape.[/field]

In the center of the room, coming straight from the dance floor toward the back of the room was the 32ft long kings table where the aisle pieces from ceremony were transferred and became the runner on top of this dramatic headtable. 6 other round tables flanked the headtable with sweet low centerpieces and more candles.
