The wedding planner skillfully crafted a design that both enhanced the historic ballroom’s natural charm and showcased Katy’s favorite pastels, creating a magical and vibrant atmosphere. Sticking with neutral colors, the bride designed a wedding inspired by the venue itself and with the intention to stay true to a timeless style. Organic florals, a long serpentine table for an outdoor reception, and gorgeous stationery were just some of the details selected to showcase this design direction.

For their Welcome Party on the eve of their wedding day, Maddie opted for a strapless drop-waist white dress with a pleated skirt from designer Acler, paired with beautifully patterned blue and floral motif pumps from Manolo Blahnik. Maddie paired her weddinggown with a cathedral-length veil complete with a blusher.
With their ceremony held at the wedding deck atop Vail mountain, a floral ground-arch installation was designed in lieu of a traditional wedding arch to enhance the panoramic view rather than distract from it. The bride and groom danced their way into the reception with their wedding party to We Are Family by Sister Sledge.

We channeled ivories neutrals throughout for warmth, + used just a dash of gold at the reception for a touch of vintage. For the reception I wanted to go with a more casual look that still felt bridal + modern. I chose a Self Portrait mini dress that had similar embellishment to my gown. Pearls felt perfect for beachside glam!
