An abundance of gorgeous florals adorned every table and bar, along with a huge statement floral installation above the dance floor and florals lining the band’s stage. The bride carried a petite Lily of the Valley bouquet and the bridesmaids each carried a white bouquet of the same flower.[/field]

Sumner’s creative touch extended to the decor, where she incorporated playful elements like disco balls into the hanging floral installation above the dance floor, illustrations of their dog Faith Hill & guest experiences at every corner. Conrad’s matching pocket boutonniere seamlessly complemented Sumner’s bouquet.

Each bridesmaid had a different colored shoe in line with the color palette (think velvet, burgundy, mustard, navy, green) and their bouquets had a matching silk ribbon.

Paired with a bouquet of pastel blooms, the bridal look is both modern and timeless, embodying the playful yet sophisticated spirit of the beloved show and city known for romance and fashion.[/field] The gown was paired with the matching cathedral length veil with 3D floral appliques of tulle and silk organza.
The fall tones were expertly crafted into a floral arch and large installations in the Tidewater House ‘s petite dining room, making the guests feel as though they were still exploring the gardens outdoors.

However, when we settled on a springtime celebration in Charleston, I knew I wanted to incorporate some whimsical elements, such as a floral arch, a dance floor ceiling installation, and mixed floral bridesmaids’ gowns. Ally from Blossom Bay Design is a true artist.

field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids wore floor-length gowns in cool tones of sea glass, slate blue, moss green, and sage from Birdy Grey. The junior bridesmaids wore toile dresses alongside the flower girls in their plaid and burgundy peacoats from Pepa London.
field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Vivian opted mismatched blue bridesmaids dresses to showcase each bridesmaid’s style, as well as for baskets rather than bouquets for that English garden feel. Vivian had 9 bridesmaids, each with their own unique personality.
Celebrating the chocolatier’s 95th anniversary, both installations served as photo ops for passersby in the city. Russell Stover also outfitted the wedding party with bow ties, pocket squares and socks for the groomsmen, and robes and bouquet pendant charms for the bridesmaids.
The bride has an Art History background and really enjoys experiential installation art, and we approached the day with a series of large scale unexpected moments. We paid homage to one of Alie’s favorite art installations with translucent black draping so the colors would pop and the space would feel more grounded.
We worked closely with the florist, A La Chloe , to plan a lush floral design that was used throughout the space and intentionally selected the bridesmaid dressed to give a bit of garden whimsy while featuring several options from Dessy. field] [field title=”Wedding Party”] The bridesmaid’s dresses were all from Dessy.
field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids wore champagne dresses in varying styles. The bride’s cascade-style bouquet included soft hues of ivories, creams, and blush finished with a vintage silk ribbon. Her blue shoes added some color and tradition to her look.[/field]
The bride’s bouquet was a combination peonies and garden roses in a classic rounded hand-tied bouquet wrapped with an ivory ribbon. The classic sweetheart neckline and corset exuded traditional elegance while the asymetrical skirt was a perfect fit for this modern bride. The grooms boutonniere was a single phalaenopsis orchid.
