During the cocktail hour, classical guitar covers added a touch of elegance.

They were both closely included in our wedding, one as the officiant and the other gave a speech at our dinner reception. While the green arbor was beautiful, I wanted to bring in the elements of my bouquet to the space and Alexa created a beautiful arrangement of hydrangeas, roses, and amaranthus that hung above us.
There was a dessert table with all sorts of goodies like macaroons, donuts, cakes and cookies placed at the back of the reception room. We had signature cocktails at each event to match the color of the event. Tying in all the monochromatic eventdesigns was done strategically, and one way was with the signature cocktails.

When I walked in, I was shocked to see the entire room covered in flower petals, bouquets, and candles. The voluminous skirt was detachable so she could go from a show-stopping and romantic look at a ceremony to a chic and refined ensemble at the reception. She and her team filled Callanwolde’s iconic circular garden with lush pastel-colored blooms and built a custom-welded gazebo to sit atop the estate table and set the stage for the Reception by bringing the gardens indoors. Colorful blooms were scattered throughout the bridesmaid bouquets and ceremony.
We played with pops of black to compliment a mostly neutral palette highlighting the beautiful Carmel Valley surrounding the ceremony & reception space.[/field] Delicate blooms such as peonies, roses, and ranunculus adorned the ceremony arch, tables, and bouquets, creating a seamless blend with the natural beauty of the surroundings.
For the ceremony, large urn arrangements were placed on existing columns in the Anderson House garden, designed asymmetrically for a more organic look. Camilla held a simply chic, rounded rose bouquet while Ben wore a classically minimal single ranunculus with hellebore accent to complete their looks.
The reception space also displayed stunning rattan elements and floral patterned tablecloths. field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Overall the vision was a chic New England summer vibe, emulating where the happy couple first met – at camp. The groom himself was sporting a white tux with a black bowtie.
As guests transitioned to the reception, they were welcomed into a space imbued with a light and contemporary ambiance. For reception, each table had locally-sourced, vibrant, seasonal florals in modern containers that reflected the whimsy and restrained elegance of the overall design.
