It was a picturesque, modern-day “Father of the Bride” She wanted the vibe to be a romantic garden party with the feel of an intimate dinner party, but for 200 guests. She prepared a family style dinner to be served to each table, featuring the bride and groom’s favorite dishes.
[section title=”The Planning”] [field title=”Wedding Colors”]The ceremony embraced the natural beauty of Mallorca and Son Marroig, with a classic all-white look to let the venue shine as the main focus. Romantic flowers and lights enhanced the atmosphere, creating a spectacular environment.[/field]
Sticking with neutral colors, the bride designed a wedding inspired by the venue itself and with the intention to stay true to a timeless style. Gold chargers, pale green linens, custom menus, and floral centerpieces lined the table. One long serpentine table served as the reception setup for all 100 guests in the back garden.
field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Growing up in Telluride, Jess (Bride), always pictured herself getting married on top of the ski mountain. The bride paired this with an Ines veil, where delicate floral appliqus and fine lace extended beyond the train of the gown.
The bride dreamed of a minimally chic wedding that featured her culture, her fiances background in agriculture and their family memories. bride wanted the reception be inspired by the Big Sur coast line which was minimal but not stark. The centerpieces were delicate and primarily built in frog vessels with white petite blooms.
The couple chose to have their firstlook on the Palmetto Bluff property, nestled underneath the ancient oak trees and Spanish moss of the Village Park Square of the property. The gown extended into a dramatic train that was mirrored by the brides gossamer cathedral-length veil in the same tulle featured throughout the gown.[/field]
This beautiful dress was discovered at Lovely Bride in Tribeca, and Catherine couldn’t stop thinking about it throughout her search. field] [field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake, crafted by Chef Seby Sorbello, was a stunning live berry millefeuille, serving as the centerpiece of a lavish dessert buffet.
To add a personal touch, baby blue elements were woven into the centerpieces, arch, and bouquets. The reception site was decorated with mesmerizing centerpieces of pink, peach, ivory, and blue scent colors, lush greens, and beautiful textures all around.
I was a bride that wanted to eat and I loved that Blue Hill made sure I ate everything at my wedding! The centerpieces were inspired by nature without being too over grown and alternated colors rather than mixing all them all together. Her bouquet was one of my favorite ones I ever made.”
The bride’s love for and signature red lipstick complements the venue, which is nestled in the heart of Pasadena, CA, home of the Rose Bowl. Baby’s breath was an additional element added to the centerpieces which also brought a little touch of whimsy. Then our gorgeous bride made her walk with Biblical by Calum Scott. The couple danced their first dance as husband and wife with Heaven by Bryan Adams. She glowed in a stunning green dress.
Niall proposed at my families house in Sonoma – which was the coincidentally the first place he met them over 2 years before. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the property, the team created stunning petite bouquets and simple and chic centerpieces to compliment the dining al fresco feel.

For cocktail hour they had a gorgeous bar arrangement that featured dripping fringe.

The mountains were covered in snow and the weather was absolutely perfect.
Our dinner florals were low and lush making for the perfect complimentary centerpieces to the mixed metal candelabras. The moody elements I wanted to include mostly stemmed from our unique floral centerpieces, dark wood chairs, worn silver, and gold details, and uplighting on the trees as well as string lights above.
Reception tables were dressed in crisp, textured BBJ/LaTavola linens and styled with dramatic, towering centerpieces complemented by glowing taper candles in crisp glass, bathing the space in a warm, romantic light.
[section title=”The Planning”] [field title=”Wedding Colors”] I envisioned a classic, timeless look with all-white florals, but I wanted to bring in a sense of fun and natural elegance through the shapes of our centerpieces and my bouquet. White floral centerpieces and taper candles adorned each dining table.
The floral team from Flowers by Brian started on gorgeous high-low table centerpieces. For the round tables, a lush garden packed with candles, and for the kings table, a bridge of hydrangeas looked as if to float above the table. One of our favorite moments to look back on, James was nothing short of in awe of his beautiful bride.
Natalie wanted to focus on touches of the color blue throughout her day, with pops of blue in her centerpieces, detailed blue table linens from BBJ La Tavola, and cobalt blue stemmed wine glasses. Joe has been a part of the bride’s family for almost 20 years and has been like a brother to Natalie and now Blake.

The bride also had three dresses: ceremony, reception, and after-party dresses which were gorgeous and fun. The bride’s parents live down in Nashville and have always loved visiting.
