The bride changed into a remodeled wedding reception dress previously worn by the Bride’s mother, tailored by Delia’s Alterations in Nashville.[/field] The groom changed into a Western-Inspired suit from Sister Jane for the reception and wore a Roy Rogers bolo tie gifted by the bride’s deceased grandfather.
[/field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bride opted out of traditional matching dresses and instead had her best friends select any blue and green dresses they felt their best in. Upon entering the reception guests were delighted with dinner which included a show stopper, chili and pineapple braised short ribs.
The bride knew the venues grand front porch was the perfect altar and utilizing the outside was her top priority. The design started to shine from the beginning as guests received their custom invitations with a watercolored image of the bride and groom walking through a field of flowers foreshadowing the event to come.
[section title=”The Planning”] [field title=”Wedding Colors”]The bride wanted to stay within the color scheme of the Seattle Tennis Club which is whites and greens. A circle bar on the lawn for the reception, and the most breathtaking ceremony views![/field]
From the delicate white florals to the lush greenery that adorned both ceremony and reception, every detail was thought of to create an intimate yet timeless setting. Pillar candles and votives were set among the arrangements, casting a romantic glow over the reception.
[/field] [field title=”Proposal Story”]Austin proposed New Years Eve (2022-2023); he planned a weekend of events including a night of a thousand candles Christmas orchestra show, and a weekend in the bride’s favorite city (Charleston). The effect was a stunning blend of individuality and coordinated elegance.[/field]

For dinner and the reception, color became the centerpiece of celebration, with vibrant pastels capturing the fun and brightness of the couple’s personalities and life together. Even though the bride had chosen the ring, hotel, and location, the nerves were still high, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
