Hayden had a few must-haves: open bar, no bar line, live band, and preferably jeans.
The bride knew the venues grand front porch was the perfect altar and utilizing the outside was her top priority. The design started to shine from the beginning as guests received their custom invitations with a watercolored image of the bride and groom walking through a field of flowers foreshadowing the event to come.
[/field] [field title=”Proposal Story”]When they first started dating, the bride and groom lived on opposite ends of Boston. At the end of the night, they would walk to the Arlington T station where the bride would get on the bus to go home and the groom would get on the train back to his apartment.
From the delicate white florals to the lush greenery that adorned both ceremony and reception, every detail was thought of to create an intimate yet timeless setting. Pillar candles and votives were set among the arrangements, casting a romantic glow over the reception.
The groomsmen were impeccably attired in rich, dark blue suits, while the bridesmaids exuded elegance in stunning teal dresses. Heidi Gave us these descriptives for her dream day: Garden Party, Grandmillennial, great good, fun reception atmosphere![/field] When guests entered the reception they were greeted by servers in blue aprons holding moss trays with margaritas in custom mini parton bottles! To end the night, they passed French Fries on the dance floor!
For dinner and the reception, color became the centerpiece of celebration, with vibrant pastels capturing the fun and brightness of the couple’s personalities and life together. Even though the bride had chosen the ring, hotel, and location, the nerves were still high, creating a truly unforgettable moment.

field] [field title=”Proposal Story”]From bride : Our wedding was incredibly special because it marked the culmination of seven wonderful years together. To cap off the night, we surprised our guests with a late-night treat from Chick-fil-A, which was a big hit and added a playful touch to our reception.
He and his groomsmen all wore matching blue floral m-print ties.[/field] As a special treat to their guests, the bride and groom provided his and hers cocktails made and served by Peak Beverage. The groom decided on a spicy jalapeo margarita and the bride went with a lavender Tom Collins.

The iconic Hermitage Hotel, where the couple held their reception, perfectly complimented the minimally added reception touches of red, raspberry, purple, & green in the unique & eye catching floral arrangements.[/field] All the groomsmen wore a black bow tie and Chris, the groom, wore a white bow tie.
The Groom surprised his Bride by popping the question on one of their usual morning walks down by the lakeshore, with their young daughter and puppy by their side. The groomsmen all followed in black suits polished with a black satin bow tie.

The bride, working with the design team at Alexandra Madison Weddings, created a wedding weekend design filled to the brim with coastal, Lowcountry nods, playful textures and patterns, and organic florals throughout. As day turned to night, the bride opted for a playful, fashionable outfit change.

As the sun began to set over Bluffton, the couple joined their guests in the Oak Ballroom of the property, where they were treated to an all-white reception design filled with candles, glass, and white orchids and roses down three long king tables to encourage guest mingling throughout the evening.
The groomsmen were fashioned via Mens Warehouse, styled in BLACK by Vera Wang.[/field] At the reception, guests enjoyed a first course of a fall Harvest Salad with apples, field greens, goat cheese, candied pecans, cider vinaigrette. The entire cake was coated in vanilla buttercream and adorned and florals.[/field]

The transition to the reception at Eventide was nothing short of spectacular. When Casey and Kenny entered their reception, the excitement in the air was palpable. As the reception came to a close, the couple invited their guests to the Oyster Lounge for an unforgettable after-party.
After being denied entrance due to early closure, the groom negotiated his way in to a private audience with the bride in front of the otters! His groomsmen wore chambray suites from Jos. Instead of the bride taking the groom’s last name or hyphenating it, both the bride and the groom chose a new last name to use moving forward.

All of the ladies would be dressed in a baby pink differing subtly in color! Some ladies wore dresses that had ruffles, embellishments and even bows![/field]
We wanted a more natural color and texture so we chose a tan linen suit for David and a light gray for the groomsmen. field] [field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Having my brother officiate our wedding made our ceremony more meaningful and personable. It was the perfect end to a beautiful day.[/field]

The groom and his groomsmen added a touch of humor with their quirky socks featuring different types of food and Sesame Street designs, while the bridesmaids dazzled in elegant sky blue dresses that perfectly complemented their vibrant sunflower-filled bouquets. The ceremony was a true reflection of the couples personalities and style.
The bride’s love for and signature red lipstick complements the venue, which is nestled in the heart of Pasadena, CA, home of the Rose Bowl. The vibrant red color stands out beautifully against the green grass, creating a romantic and dramatic pathway for the brides entrance. This design choice was perfect for them.
It culminated with a Catholic ceremony on the steps of Saint Stanislaus Church in Altos De Chavon, followed by a wedding reception at a private ocean-side villa in Casa De Campo on February 10th, 2024. The groomsmen all wore black tuxedos. For the Reception, we worked on the space transformation for over a week.
