While our groom described himself as a “Jeans and a T-Shirt” type of guy, our bride loved all things rich textures, velvet, and dressing up which led us to a day where casual & comfortable met formal & fancy.
We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. With the color that came through in the floral and tables, the bride had her bridesmaids in white to create a very modern look with wedding party and ceremony moments.
Every bridesmaid was able to choose which dress fit their preferences the best to ensure that everyone felt beautiful. There was a fun element where the groom’s father sang some songs with the band. We had a drumline rev things up and even had the groom participate as he was formerly in a marching band.

field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Our bridesmaids were given choice of gowns in shades of soft pink. 6 other round tables flanked the headtable with sweet low centerpieces and more candles. It then cascaded to the floor to really high light the center of the reception space.
[/field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bride’s sister, who was also the Maid of Honor, selected the blush pink bridesmaids gowns from Bellas Bridesmaids. The groom, who also loved the look of a white dinner jacket, opted for a jacket change before entering the reception!
field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The bride and groom, along with their wedding designers, Pure Luxe Bride, worked tirelessly to create a vibe of “Relaxed Coastal Elegance” throughout every detail of the wedding day and decor!
field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] The shimmering bridesmaids’ gowns were designed by Alfred Sung and sourced from Dessy Group. The one-shouldered, champagne satin trumpet gowns accentuated each bridesmaid’s feminine silhouette while still looking chic and modern. Guests absolutely loved it!
Guests were seated at two headtables spanning the family living room of her childhood home, and additional seating continued on both the front and back patios, as well as around the family pool.[/field] She prepared a family style dinner to be served to each table, featuring the bride and groom’s favorite dishes.

The structure over the headtable was a little something special for the bride and groom and wedding party. Her fun reception dress was Carolina Herrera from Bergdorf Goodman. They brought our vision to life perfectly, it was a design request from the start of planning and really set the tone for the reception.
[/field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] The Bridesmaid’s dresses were from MuMu Weddings by SHow Me Your Mumu ! Hers: Skinny Margarita & His: Vodka, ginger ale, lemon & lime or as the groom likes to call it, his “Golf Cocktail.” They were slim fit with a tied bow across the chest!

We chose an all-inclusive headtable with our wedding party to allow us to take in the celebration feeling like we were amongst everyone we love. The Mixology by Melissa team ensured the cocktails were personal to us and an experience all on their own. For us, our ceremony had to accomplish two things in this regard.

Bride & Groom Photos The Ruby Cora has stunning land included in the venue that created incredible backdrops for Maddie and Andrew. The greenery assisted in the most enchanting Bride & Groom photos!
The person who catches the bouquet is said to be married next Buck’s night- a gathering of the groom-to-be’s closest friends to celebrate their friendship and his upcoming marriage (also called a “bachelor party”) Buffet- a variety of dishes displayed on tables that guests can create their own plates from.
