As for my maid of honor, she was my something blue. At that moment we felt an immense amount of love from all our favorite people.

From the rich greenery to the blush petals mimicking the sunset to the rich navy of my bridesmaids gowns paying homage to the water, each choice was made to organically highlight the beauty of our surroundings and the hearts of those in attendance.[/field] The piped icing was also designed to match the magnolia pattern on my dress and veil.[/field]

I intended to wear the lace top for the entire event but once I got closer to the wedding date, I ended up wanting to take it off after dinner and added some fun sleeves for the reception which completely changed the look and a lot of people thought it was a completely different dress. With delicate white colored flowers, sage green bridesmaid, and champagne linens these soft hues perfectly blended with the natural surroundings. Guests entered a stunning tented reception. We chose sage green and gold as our wedding colors and then proceeded to meet with stylists at Bella Bridesmaids in Columbia, South Carolina.

Best way of going about wedding dress shopping is finding a date that works for the wedding party (mom, Maid of Honor, bridesmaids, cousins) either during the week or weekend. Give those extra shoes to your wedding planner/day of coordinator/maid of honor, it’s important. I am sure you can imagine A LOT.
The reception, set beneath a clear-top tent, featured a soft glow from abundant candles and bud vases, with Pantone’s Peach Fuzz adding a playful touch throughout. The wedding party was dressed to complement the palette, with groomsmen in light tan linen suits and bridesmaids in flowing champagne silk gowns.

It was really important to me that all of my bridesmaids felt comfortable and beautiful in their dresses and were able to dance the night away! It felt simple, elegant, and easy to dance in!

Marek is a fan of architecture, so we brought in touches of the Mont La Salle building details into the stationery design, constructed a custom seating display (in the style of one of their fav Chicago hangouts), and upgraded the reception chairs to something a bit more modern. Hannah wanted petite bouquets for her and the bridesmaids.
