I had always loved Danielle Frankel gowns as they are very fashion-forward and untraditional- yet timeless. The gown I wore was the very first weddinggown I had ever tried on. I knew immediately, as did my mom and sister who came with me.
I had always envisioned a ball gown, and that’s exactly what I chose! I didn’t do a second gown for the reception because I was too obsessed with the gown![/field] field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids wore one of our favorite colors, sage green.
With delicate white colored flowers, sage green bridesmaid, and champagne linens these soft hues perfectly blended with the natural surroundings. field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Knowing that we would have a garden wedding in early spring, I wanted to choose colors that would complement the setting.
From the rich greenery to the blush petals mimicking the sunset to the rich navy of my bridesmaidsgowns paying homage to the water, each choice was made to organically highlight the beauty of our surroundings and the hearts of those in attendance.[/field]
I ended up finding the lace bolero before I even found the dress so that helped narrow down what I was looking for. The heartfelt speeches from my dad, our best man, and maid of honor added even more emotion to the evening. I wanted a ball gown-style dress that was simple, but not boring. field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] The three bridesmaids each chose a style from Jenny Yoo in the shade Whisper Blue.
For our Thursday church ceremony, I wanted a classic and elegant white dress that would be appropriate for church, yet simple enough that it did not take away from my big “gown” moment at Allen Farm on Saturday. My wedding day look was a perfect balance of beauty, practicality, and confidence.[/field] field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]My maid of honor (she was the only one in our bridal party other than the Best Man) wore a stunning gold dress that was the perfect complement to our wedding venues vibe.
The wedding party was dressed to complement the palette, with groomsmen in light tan linen suits and bridesmaids in flowing champagne silk gowns. The brides crepe weddinggown by designer Sarah Seven featured a plunging neckline, open back in a V shape, and a trumpet silhouette skirt with a flowing train.

The bridesmaids wore designer Jenny Yoo in a mix of Whisper Blue gowns. The Maid of Honors wore Bec & Bridge, Sabrina Musayev & Michelle Mason. Getting ready, the bridesmaids all wore Victoria’s Secret satin pajamas. The groomsmen all wore black tuxedos.
Michaels Wedding was their Plan B, as it was so flawlessly and beautifully executed, full of thoughtful touches at every turn. We began the day at Alexandra’s family home, along a willow-lined drive with the bride’s mom, sister in law and maid of honor, and 3 sweet nieces as they helped the bride into her gorgeous Mira Zwillinger gown.
field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] Liz chose the Dessy Group for her (six!) Maids of Honor dresses because they have such a range of gorgeous quality gowns in different styles. She’d seen incredible photos of bridal capes and liked them so much more than classic veils.

I truly had to trust the process because the gown was ready only about a week before we left for Italy. Plus, fitting my gown into a carry-on was a challenge! field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]I let my Maids of Honor choose their own dresses based on my color palette.

Our hope was to incorporate coastal blues with pops of color and texture through florals, patterned table linens, rattan lanterns, and mix-matched bridesmaid dresses.[/field] My sister and maid of honor wore the Ruby Twist halter gown by BHLDN. My sister and matron of honor wore the Chelsea gown by Sachin and Bibi.
Light, cornflower, blue of particular importance to the bride, was used throughout the wedding from the invitations, to the ceremony cite, bridesmaids dresses, and day of stationery. And, she wore her Maid of Honor’s veil as her “something borrowed.” Bar: BevMo!

I was one of the last brides to wear a Carolina wedding dress, given she stopped doing bridal! My sister and maid of honor wore Oscar de la Renta, and the rest of the girls wore Coco Shop, Zimmermann, Abercrombie, de Castro, V Chapman, Alexis, Me + Em and Reformation. We wanted it to be evocative of summer!
I fell in love with the “Love” gown by Eisen Stein Bridal as soon as I saw it on the mannequin at Mira Couture. I wore an ivory, v-neck, art-deco inspired Adrianna Papell gown for the reception. field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] The bridesmaid dresses were a mix of Vera Wang, Reformation, BHLDN, and ASOS.

Things had just begun to open up, when my friend and bridesmaid, Gabriella, asked us to meet her and her husband, Greg, at The William Vale hotel in Brooklyn for drinks on a Friday evening.
