At the end of the night, they would walk to the Arlington T station where the bride would get on the bus to go home and the groom would get on the train back to his apartment.
The design started to shine from the beginning as guests received their custom invitations with a watercolored image of the bride and groom walking through a field of flowers foreshadowing the event to come. They selected caterer, Chef Carys Cuisine, known for their locally sourced selections and southern comfort food.
The bridesmaids’ varied pastel dresses and the couple’s attention to detail brought a playful yet sophisticated charm to their celebration. field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids’ dresses were a stunning collection sourced from various places, each chosen to reflect the colorful pastel palette of the wedding.
[/field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”] Jenny Yoo Bridesmaid Collection, “Mercy” in shade Enchanted Floral Whisper Blue. The bride handmade blue bows for the bridesmaids hair using ribbon in a color similar to the dresses.
[/field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bride opted out of traditional matching dresses and instead had her best friends select any blue and green dresses they felt their best in. The tartan patterned jacket featured a print of the groom’s family crest on the inner lining nodding to his family’s history.

The color palette was highlighted throughout the wedding through florals, bridesmaids dresses and bouquets. After a few dinners, the groom insisted on a “two week trial” of serious dating– and the pair quickly fell in love. Ines Naftali Designs created unique bouquets for each girl to match the color of their dress.
The grooms cousins husbands brother recommended it during a chance encounter in town and since it was only about 40 minutes away from home, it made for an ideal location for the grooms family and friends to get to. It was actually the only venue we visited before we made our decision.
