[/field] [field title=”Proposal Story”]When they first started dating, the bride and groom lived on opposite ends of Boston. At the end of the night, they would walk to the Arlington T station where the bride would get on the bus to go home and the groom would get on the train back to his apartment.
The design started to shine from the beginning as guests received their custom invitations with a watercolored image of the bride and groom walking through a field of flowers foreshadowing the event to come. field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids wore all different dresses in a pastel yellow from Shop Revelry.
field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Working off of the exquisite design of the bride’s ballgown we selected bridesmaids dresses that were the same hue of the satin fabric under the lace for a subtle tone on tone look. Romantic touches throughout including the reception centerpieces and pink taper candles.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful blue gowns from Bella Bridesmaids & carried a single white Calla lily down the aisle. field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids look was highly inspired by the mother of the bride’s bridesmaid dresses she picked when she got married in 1995.
From the delicate white florals to the lush greenery that adorned both ceremony and reception, every detail was thought of to create an intimate yet timeless setting. Pillar candles and votives were set among the arrangements, casting a romantic glow over the reception.

bride wanted the reception be inspired by the Big Sur coast line which was minimal but not stark. Our gingham and leather lounge pieces were the perfect finishing touches to make the reception feel comfortable and inviting. They allowed the various bridesmaids looks to shine through and not overwhelm the flowers.
To cap off the night, we surprised our guests with a late-night treat from Chick-fil-A, which was a big hit and added a playful touch to our reception. Bach 2) Wedding party (pastor, groomsmen, bridesmaids, flower girls, etc.): That was definitely the highlight of the night and our guests still bring it up to us!

The color palette was highlighted throughout the wedding through florals, bridesmaids dresses and bouquets. After a few dinners, the groom insisted on a “two week trial” of serious dating– and the pair quickly fell in love.
The grooms cousins husbands brother recommended it during a chance encounter in town and since it was only about 40 minutes away from home, it made for an ideal location for the grooms family and friends to get to. It was actually the only venue we visited before we made our decision. Fresh, handmade pastas came next.
Every bridesmaid was able to choose which dress fit their preferences the best to ensure that everyone felt beautiful. We kept the bridesmaids bouquets all the same for chic white bouquets to tie them all together. There was a fun element where the groom’s father sang some songs with the band.
Every detail, from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the complete stationery suite, was meticulously coordinated. The reception took place inside the chateaus courtyard, under a canopy of twinkling stars. This blend of tradition and personalization made the groom’s attire a standout feature of the wedding.[/field]

To end the night, they passed French Fries on the dance floor!

The reception space has a lot of charm and character with wood accents throughout and high ceilings. and did champagne colored drapery through the Bedford Village Inn’s Styled by BVI collection in the reception space.[/field] We created a soft and romantic feel with twinkle lights from the New England Holiday Light, Co.
field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The bride and the groom wanted to keep everything chic and subtle but we wanted to design something that would stand out, this is why we decided to have the mirrored aisle for the ceremony. This along with the beautiful floral arrangements created a stunning result which we all loved!

For the reception, the bride wore an Oscar de la Renta mini dress adorned with butterfly appliqués, allowing her to dance and celebrate while looking stunning[/field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids selected their own dresses, reflecting their unique styles and ensuring they felt comfortable and beautiful.
The cocktail hour and reception design featured patterned linens by local linen company Stradley Davidson, rattan accents and chargers, and colorful floral compotes and bud vases down two long king tables situated under the oak trees. As the couple entered their reception, they ‘soft opened’ the evening with a mini champagne tower, too!
While our groom described himself as a “Jeans and a T-Shirt” type of guy, our bride loved all things rich textures, velvet, and dressing up which led us to a day where casual & comfortable met formal & fancy.
