Every detail, from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the complete stationery suite, was meticulously coordinated. The reception took place inside the chateaus courtyard, under a canopy of twinkling stars. Guests were invited to bring their drinks to the ceremony, creating a chic yet relaxed atmosphere.

Marek is a fan of architecture, so we brought in touches of the Mont La Salle building details into the stationery design, constructed a custom seating display (in the style of one of their fav Chicago hangouts), and upgraded the reception chairs to something a bit more modern. Hannah wanted petite bouquets for her and the bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids wore champagne/gold, but there was no set color scheme. The reception/late-night wedding dress designer was Berta, and the dress was tulle. While I loved my mermaid ceremony gown, it wasn’t easy to move around (much less dance), so I was looking for something a bit more comfortable for the second half of the reception.

I wanted my wedding to be classy and elegant with a reception that reflected my personal style (without overdoing it). I’m very particular about color, so I chose custom paint colors for the bars that I designed for our reception. I took them off at the reception to give my arms more range of motion for dancing.
