The weather gods were in their favor, because the sun broke through just before the ceremony was about to start. Newport Catholic wedding ceremony After Gina finished dressing, we packed up and headed out to St. I’m not a stranger to Catholic ceremonies, having grown up in the Catholic Church and also having photographed many Catholic weddings over my career. And before too long, it was time for the ceremony to begin!

Ashley and Brad’s wedding at Tetherow Resort encompassed everything we love about spring in Oregon, including a snowy first look in the mountains, a sun-soaked outdoor ceremony, and plenty of floral details. Brad popped the question two weeks before the COVID lockdown, so the couple postponed their wedding until 2022.

We loved working with Kara Moore Photo, a Colorado based wedding and elopement photographer who made the trip to Oregon to capture Taylor and James in the beautiful woodsy setting of Oregon. The ceremony included a ring warming exercise, where each guest warmed their wedding rings in their hands before they were placed on each others fingers.
