The weekend began with a chic waterfront welcome party at Kiawah River’s Spring House, complete with fresh out-of-the-oven woodfired pizza from Coastal Crust and marshland views from the poolside al fresco table. When I collated the inspiration pictures I had collected for months, I could see that they were all very floral-heavy, a very soft colour palette, and that I was really drawn to an aesthetic that had a little bit of an overgrown and rambling look to it. We even had dinner with our Catering Manager at her family’s home the week after our wedding. The most special and memorable thing for both of us was our FirstLook.
