At the end of the night, they would walk to the Arlington T station where the bride would get on the bus to go home and the groom would get on the train back to his apartment.

The design started to shine from the beginning as guests received their custom invitations with a watercolored image of the bride and groom walking through a field of flowers foreshadowing the event to come. They selected caterer, Chef Carys Cuisine, known for their locally sourced selections and southern comfort food.
The bride changed into a remodeled wedding reception dress previously worn by the Bride’s mother, tailored by Delia’s Alterations in Nashville.[/field] The groom changed into a Western-Inspired suit from Sister Jane for the reception and wore a Roy Rogers bolo tie gifted by the bride’s deceased grandfather.
field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The bride and the groom wanted to keep everything chic and subtle but we wanted to design something that would stand out, this is why we decided to have the mirrored aisle for the ceremony. This along with the beautiful floral arrangements created a stunning result which we all loved!
The grooms cousins husbands brother recommended it during a chance encounter in town and since it was only about 40 minutes away from home, it made for an ideal location for the grooms family and friends to get to. It was actually the only venue we visited before we made our decision. Fresh, handmade pastas came next.

As a special treat to their guests, the bride and groom provided his and hers cocktails made and served by Peak Beverage. He and his groomsmen all wore matching blue floral m-print ties.[/field]
“It was so beautiful and intimate and everything we’d wanted”, say the grooms.[/field] Leaning into the Cinco de Mayo date, the couple welcomed guests to the reception with festive welcome shots to set a lively tone. Part of the trip was spent in the beautiful Ritz Carlton Resort in Half Moon Bay.

To cap off the night, we surprised our guests with a late-night treat from Chick-fil-A, which was a big hit and added a playful touch to our reception. Given the areas strong shrimping industry, the entree included shrimp and grits alongside short rib for a true Southern flair. The couple had an assortment of beautiful cakes!

masterfully brought this vision to life with lush arrangements throughout the ceremony and reception, as well as in thoughtful details like a welcome cart and an escort display that incorporated Sicilian art. The floral designer, Anthology Co. Fruits and vegetables, including vibrant lemons and artichokes, served as focal points in the decor.
Focusing on the natural beauty of the sculpture garden, the bride paired the day with vibrant florals, bold mother of bride and groom dresses, timeless silhouettes, with pops of pink! The couple delighted guests with two options of flavors, a classic vanilla cake selected by the bride and a chocolate cake for the groom! said the bride.

Outdoors, string lights over a full circular bar and touches of a floral print brought a touch of magic to that space.

I intended to wear the lace top for the entire event but once I got closer to the wedding date, I ended up wanting to take it off after dinner and added some fun sleeves for the reception which completely changed the look and a lot of people thought it was a completely different dress. Cru Catering also designed a fabulous raw bar oyster display to bring in the culture of the coast. Once the guests took their seats at the reception, they enjoyed traditional bread service and a Southern Arugula Salad with a Honey-Sherry Vinaigrette. Reception Gown: Safiyaa Perfect for dancing – Unique and Elegant but a more relaxed feel. The grooms brothers and best friends wore cream colored suits as a symbol of their special bond. (and The bride and groom mentioned that the design and florals ‘completely knocked their socks off!
