An extra long custom bar served a “his” and “her” specialty drink in one of the wedding colors on display.[/field] The color blocking around the reception tied all of the headtable greenery in! The bride’s bouquet was a mix of all colors used at the color blocking wedding![/field]
Jennie Weller Catering and Events truly rose to the occasion and gave Heidi the wedding feast of her dreams! Southern Posies has planned and flowered all three of the Gilmore Girls wedding! And at every sister’s wedding, they wanted a headtable to be able to share their first married meal with their family!
For the Headtable we will order velvet linens and design a living arrangement down the entire center of the table with brass candlesticks. She chose a simple but stunning Sarah Seven wedding dress with draped sleeves off of the shoulder and a long and dramatic train that looked gorgeous in her photos! Posey Pop created everything from lush, overflowing centerpieces to whimsical wild grasses and flora dotted throughout the ceremony aisles and headtable.
Guests were seated at two headtables spanning the family living room of her childhood home, and additional seating continued on both the front and back patios, as well as around the family pool.[/field] She prepared a family style dinner to be served to each table, featuring the bride and groom’s favorite dishes.

The wedding day design embodied a relaxed elegance reminiscent of Serena and Lily, featuring a mix of patterned linens, rattan accents, and clusters of blue and white florals.

We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. Dinner was a plated dinner service served by SoHo Catering. Lovelily Flowers over delivered in every area, but one of the top WOW moments was her headtable install we all dreamed up together.
Wedding food was provided by Shoals Club. The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. I wanted the greenery to look like moss coming down to fit the theme of Bald Head and the Spanish moss. Salt Harbor nailed it.

I purchased my weddinggown at Ivory & White Bridal Boutique in Mountain Brook, Alabama. All our wedding flowers were mostly white, with subtle touches of light blue & greenery. The bride’s favorite flowers, Ranunculus & white tulips, were incorporated throughout the wedding florals.

The wedding weekend kicked off with an al fresco dinner at Holman Ranch under the arbor covered in vines. The Mexican cuisine served by Paradise Catering was an ode to Matthew’s heritage. The wedding party then shuttled down to Forge in the Forest in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a Clint Eastwood hang out spot, for the welcome party.

We found an amazing local caterer who helped us choose dishes that were very “us” and incorporated our love of Asian flavors with classic Californian food. I loved the dainty and ethereal look of baby’s breath, which we incorporated into my bridesmaids bouquets, headtable runner and some tall “cloud” like table arrangements.
