Cru Catering also designed a fabulous raw bar oyster display to bring in the culture of the coast. Once the guests took their seats at the reception, they enjoyed traditional bread service and a Southern Arugula Salad with a Honey-Sherry Vinaigrette. So it’s both! SoHo Catering & Consulting executed a plated dinner service, which included a delicious filet mignon or a pistachio and herb crusted salmon. Cocktail hour had shared appetizers paired with an open bar, the couple included a signature drink -The Ranch Water. I thought it would be fun to do a collaboration painting since we are both artists/got married at a sculpture museum.

We used a split arch for the alter and then reutilized it to frame the sweetheart table at the reception along with the aisle ground pieces. It was delivering both the outdoors and being in a lovely garden and enjoying the traditions of a classic wedding all in one. However, garden weddings must have their florals! It was such a fun memory!
We channeled ivories neutrals throughout for warmth, + used just a dash of gold at the reception for a touch of vintage. We even had dinner with our Catering Manager at her family’s home the week after our wedding. Our menus also used hand torn paper: the base was white with a taupe name card attached via a monogrammed wax seal.
