Emma had all invitation suites letterpressed, with neutral colors and a monogram that we incorporated not only in the invitation suite, but also throughout the weddingdesign. The couple delighted guests with a 3 course seated dinner at the George Bush center, Catered by Cafe 43, which included a crowd favorite, salmon with risotto. field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]The 5 tiered cake was quite the show stopper, and not just for the ornate design!

Spring was celebrated with whimsical floral designs, vintage floral prints, and even faux butterflies in the cocktail hour centerpieces. Baked by Lel Ptisserie, the four-tiered cake was a work of art inside and out.

To add sophistication to the wedding colors, we incorporated deep purple and deep pink as well as their pastel counterparts to soften the day. They also wanted to incorporate delicate details from their weddingdesign including butler passed hors d’oeuvres with matching floral napkins draped over the servers arms.

Both elements also tie into the organic, garden inspiration you see throughout the weddingdesign. field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]The cake was created by Lila Cakeshop. The 4 tier cake was decorated with gorgeous peonies (the brides favourite flower). As well as the soft green color.

We wanted a tres leches cake (a tradition in marcos family) but we weren’t able to have that kind of cake make in the shape I wanted with multiple tiers, so we had quakenbush design a cakecake and then had our caterer served tres leches dessert cups and churros! To reflect Marco’s heritage!
