We were then surprised by an engagement party with both of our families, who flew in and came together as a surprise to celebrate our love. It was Aubrey’s 30th birthday and they celebrated during a ski trip in Breckenridge – it was perfect![/field] The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. We wanted our guests to feel like they were transported to a quaint coastal town (not in Florida) to celebrate our love! It was a small, intimate wedding with all of our closest friends & family! We definitely wanted florals to be a main statements throughout the celebration and they were lush and overflowing. You can experience and be so unimaginably sad and also celebrate one of the best days of your life. My weddingdress was the second dress I tried on. That day taught me that two things can exist.

We ultimately wanted the focus of the day to be on the marriage of Allie and Chris and gathering all of their favorite people in one place to celebrate them.
