[/field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Once they started planning their wedding, their vision was of an intimate wedding which was to be witnessed by their closest family and friends. Therefore we mixed soft terracottas and light ochre florals with white in their wedding decor.
Transforming the ceremony site into the reception site was a favorite for Paulina, wowing guests and adding a little drama to the setting to achieve that fairytale vision. Floral arrangements lined the ceremony aisle, which lead to the focal point of a low semi-circular arrangement defining the alter.
They hired Palms Weddings & Events to help them bring their destinationwedding vision to life. They wanted to touch on spring in Cabo, keeping the vibe bright and colorful yet still soft and romantic for their intimate wedding. It was the sweetest touch having someone so near and dear to them marry them.
The sheer illusion of the gown, coupled with the custom-designed pointed sleeves that were created in lieu of the tuile sleeves, struck the perfect balance between unexpected edginess and the soft romanticism you’d expect from a Tuscan garden wedding. For my other outfits, I enlisted the help of Canadian stylist Rachel Dunford.

I ordered fresh flowers from India like lotus flowers, jasmine flower garlands, fuschia rose petals and marigolds for the ceremony and my Dad grew the flowers for the larger pots and centerpieces. We wanted the food after our ceremony to honor our grandparents and be reminiscent of the comfort food we had whenever we visited them.
It was also in the hotel’s stunning gardens that the couple shared a quiet, emotional, romantic moment for their firstlook before setting off for Monserrate for their beautiful ceremony. Choosing not to have a party after their reception meal meant no traditional timing for the first dance.
