The biggest challenge for design was recreating a timeless elegant atmosphere on a tropical island. Intentional choices such as having the ceremony in a smaller area where the grass met the sand, and hosting a seated dinner with two long tables side by side, was how we created intimacy in such a large, spacious venue.
The ceremony was a springtime inspired lush garden, with heaps of local lilac lining the aisle and filling the room with the scent of spring. And to cap off the ‘New York in Spring’ spirit of the wedding, the couple had floral sunglasses for everyone to wear while dancing the night away![/field]
Delicate florals brought a refined and whimsical feel to both the ceremony and reception areas.
