I decided on a simple square neck, A-line design by Blue Willow from Anne Barge for my ceremony dress with a 3-tier wedding cake veil from Toni Federici. For the reception, I went full party vibes with a sequined column dress adorned with ostrich feathers from Varca Bridal. By then, we were dancing up a storm!
An intimate, candlelit ceremony in the May River Chapel treated guests to heartfelt vows and stunning views of the May River at the back of the chapel. The all-white design was carried into both the ceremony and reception florals, which were both filled with white blooms, local lush greenery accents, and candlelight throughout.
I wanted a dress worthy and reflective of the atmosphere, and since we’d be getting married in October, while we hoped it would be warm, we couldn’t be sure, so I wanted something with the options of sleeves that I could wear for the ceremony, but wouldn’t restrain me for the rest of the event.
