[/field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Groomsmen attire was quite the topic of discussion! My weddinggift to him was an Herms bowtie with a subtle H patternperfect for someone whose name starts with an H! As they entered the ceremony, guests were greeted with the option of champagne.
It culminated with a Catholic ceremony on the steps of Saint Stanislaus Church in Altos De Chavon, followed by a wedding reception at a private ocean-side villa in Casa De Campo on February 10th, 2024. The groomsmen all wore black tuxedos. The jewelry she wore was simple yet meaningful.
Although we used mostly local vendors we decided to fly in Liz Banfield, who photographed our entire wedding weekend, from our private family church ceremony on Thursday through to our exit on Saturday night. Pat accessorized with a pair of Gucci loafers and a watch I gave him as a weddinggift.
Interestingly, the chteau itself was a weddinggift from its original owner to his wife, adding an extra layer of romance to the venues story and making it the perfect place for Joana and Lucas to begin their own.[/field] The band featured various performers, starting with a duo of vocalists during the ceremony.
The reception/late-night wedding dress designer was Berta, and the dress was tulle. While I loved my mermaid ceremony gown, it wasn’t easy to move around (much less dance), so I was looking for something a bit more comfortable for the second half of the reception. The guests started at the ceremony site, moved to the cocktail hour location and then on to the reception. I also wore a simple diamond necklace with a gold chain that Joey got me as a weddinggift. No hats until after the ceremony. Also, my dad and I got to watch the beginning of the ceremony from that spot.

Despite having a first look with Parker on the wedding day, the overskirt was a surprise to him as Bailey made her way down the aisle with her Dad. His linen pocket square was a day-of gift from Bailey embroidered with the word “always,” and he completed his look with chocolate suede loafers. and given by the groom as a gift.

The Groomsmen wore traditional black tuxes. Chance built a beautiful arch that they used in a small private ceremony in 2020.
