Luke and Lexies favorite spot has always been Querencia, so when it came time to choose a weddingvenue, it only made sense to do it there! The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. I wanted the greenery to look like moss coming down to fit the theme of Bald Head and the Spanish moss. The ceremony flowers are classic, with white and green arbor flowers along the aisle.
When last-minute rainstorms rolled in, the Potomac Point Winery team effortlessly adapted, transforming the ceremony into an intimate indoor celebration. The cloud like, romantic dress was a big inspiration for the dreamy, airy vision for my wedding day. The headtable was a lively mix of colorful tapered candles in glass hurricanes, sprigs of greenery, and bud vases. Post tags: Post categories: Real Weddings , The Blog , Traditional Elegance
For the ceremony, the idea was to have an organic and natural feel of colorful florals sprouting from the arch and along the aisle. The long-sleeve lace top added an elegant element to the simplicity of the dress that was perfect for the ceremony. I traveled to New York City to try the dress on and instantly knew it was the one.
Held at Quail Ranch , an upscale California weddingvenue with expansive plantlife, the grounds flourished with avocado and citrus orchards. Ample ivory arrangements elevated the open space with a floral archway over the couple’s headtable. Spherical chandeliers hung from the boughs overhead as they cast their glow.
The ceremony arch was anchored by filled wicker baskets and fresh lemons spilling out on the ground. Post tags: Post categories: Real Weddings , Romantic , Seasonal Wedding Trend , Summer , The Blog Permalink | Comments | Add to del.icio.us

To get started, here are some typical groups you can bucket your guests into: Bridal Party – This includes the couple getting married and the friends and family they’ve chosen to stand up in their ceremony (maid of honor, best man, groomsmen, bridesmaids, etc.). Our ceremony site was overlooked the beach/ocean in Rosemary Beach, and Fishers Flowers framed this beautiful view with adorned white florals & greenery. All our wedding flowers were mostly white, with subtle touches of light blue & greenery.

We also wanted our guests to never feel like there was a moment where they couldn’t be eating or drinking while they took in the landscape, and so as one moved about the property, there were multiple stations to grab refreshments and even an oversized, mesmerizing charcuterie board available to guests both before and after ceremony.
Each guest was presented with bespoke menus from Peak Event Services , and the headtable featured place cards nestled within small clay potted plants, hand-lettered with guests’ names by Pretty in Ink. Every detail of the ceremony was thoughtfully curated to complement the natural splendor of the surroundings.

It was a massive undertaking: 240 guests at each location, 2 venue relocations, 6 or 7 floor plan revisions, 2-flips of the event space from ceremony to reception, multiple rental teams, complex production and logistics, and over 8 load-ins per venue.
King Family Vineyards has the most breathtaking mountain views, so we leaned into the natural all-encompassing beauty as our ceremony backdrop which created a very intimate feeling for guests.
