We imagined an intimate celebration at Villa Montanare, with a sun-drenched ceremony in a peaceful olive grove and a casual, yet luxurious, atmosphere. A stunning floral arch and a lush aisle arrangement featured an elegant mix of roses, orchids, and snapdragons, setting a dreamy tone for the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was more classic with softer floral tones, but opted for an elevated dais rather than a traditional arch to modernize the setup. The ceremony took place in the lush secret garden with weeping willows adding to the atmosphere as the couple tied the knot on an elevated round dais.

Each cocktail napkin served was printed with one of four love letters exchanged between the bride and groom – dating back to their first date, to days before the ceremony. The groom was excited to bring in bouts of color through florals, specifically on the dance floor and in the ceremony fountain.
From letter pressed ceremony programs to the delicate bows on each menu card, every detail was accounted for. Guests entered the ceremony through large trees onto an acrylic aisle with the view of a ceremony platform and draping – the room was grand. Guests walked down a gorgeous staircase to an outdoor cocktail hour.
Well, so I thought. I had told Luke months ago that the only thing I wanted was to be surprised so a week before this fabulous trip we were going on, he proposed on the beaches of Kiawah Island not 3 hours after we went ring shopping for the first time so I knew he didn’t have the ring yet so I was very confused & surprised.
I envisioned our florals to be at the forefront of our design, while seamlessly blending into the surroundings, as if the floral cross and our tented place setting just happened to be a part of nature as it was. When it was finally my older sister and maid of honor Katie’s turn to find her dream dress we knew there was only place to go.
She chose an elegant strapless gown with a deep sweetheart neckline, which she paired with a sophisticated pearl bolero for the ceremony. As I turned around, I saw Nick down on one knee, smiling and holding the ring. I was so overwhelmed with joy and in shock.

Guests celebrated the couple’s nuptials at a lawn front ceremony under the oaks, with the couple surrounded by a half-moon of floral compotes at their feet. The couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony featured a crescent of tall compotes of green and white that framed them and their officiant on the ground.
The ceremony was a springtime inspired lush garden, with heaps of local lilac lining the aisle and filling the room with the scent of spring. The layering of colors, textures and smells continued throughout every detail over the course of the wedding weekend. And the dessert extravaganza was so magical that it needs its own feature!
