Of course, being in Sonoma we also had plenty of wine options, the first splash being served prior to guests being seated for the ceremony. Our Ceremony florals consisted of blooming aisle arrangements that had the most color of all of the arrangements, alternating purples and blue. Everyone laughed and cried, including Sam and I.

WeddingCeremony Details The ceremony was set in front of the organ at Clementine Hall. Each side of the altar, there were ceremony poufs that stood on gold stands. These poufs were beautiful and tied in their fun colors for their end of summer wedding. Such a cute way to tie in everything about the wedding day!

Our families each love to cook, so we assigned them to create their families’ signature dishes to share with each other the night before the wedding. We asked those tuning in virtually to leave us a love note during the ceremony for us to read later. We skipped welcome gifts, wedding favors, menus, and ceremony programs.
But we learned that if we led with heart and invited all our family to have an integral part in our wedding, they would feel honored too. For our ceremony floral pieces, the sisters at Diosa Blooms used in-season flowers and flourished them with additional cuttings from my friend’s backyard where the wedding was hosted.
