Although we used mostly local vendors we decided to fly in Liz Banfield, who photographed our entire wedding weekend, from our private family church ceremony on Thursday through to our exit on Saturday night. For my weddinggown, I worked with L’Elite Bridal Boutique in Boston.
To complement that, we brought in lush greenery and beautiful flowers, especially for our outdoor garden ceremony. My wedding day look was a perfect balance of beauty, practicality, and confidence.[/field] We chose a color palette of blush pink, light pink, and ivory, which set a soft and delicate tone for the entire day.
After a quiet moment, they arrived at the venue, buzzing with anticipation as they prepared for their ceremony. The ceremony itself was set on the Terrace, just steps from the beach. The vows exchanged were deeply personal, officiated by a close family friend who made the ceremony even more meaningful.
The ceremony took place on the garden lawn. I had fallen for so many of Lela Roses dresses online and I went to Kellys Closet specifically because they carried her gowns. He went with a classic black tux for the ceremony and all of our portraits, but he changed into a white dinner jacket for the reception.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued with a lively cocktail hour featuring an array of charcuterie, a stunning 360-degree bar, and crystal chandeliers suspended from the ancient oaks. Jack took her to their favorite nearby park with the beautiful city skyline and lake in the background, and he surprised her with a ring.

The ceremony took place in the Mirror Room Garden with the majestic Villa Cora behind us. The Thyra gown was the perfect fit for our black-tie Florentine wedding. The cascading ceremony florals in concrete vases really brought together the picture we had envisioned more perfectly than we could have imagined.
