Although we used mostly local vendors we decided to fly in Liz Banfield, who photographed our entire wedding weekend, from our private family church ceremony on Thursday through to our exit on Saturday night. The desired vibe was timelessly coastal, hoping that our guests would feel both the history and beauty of Martha’s Vineyard.

The mix of silk fabrics and sequins glowed in the golden hour of the ceremony. At the reception, the bar was named after their Golden Retriever, Finn, who was a gift from Connor to Madeline for their college graduation. Signage, napkins, and more featured a drawing of Finn as a way to incorporate him into the reception.
It was at that moment that Natalie decided to have her rehearsaldinner dress be her touch of blue and her wedding gown would be all ivory. For the rehearsaldinner, she chose the dramatic satin bow clips while for her wedding day, she chose a yellow gold and crystal clip to match her wedding day jewelry.

Marek is a fan of architecture, so we brought in touches of the Mont La Salle building details into the stationery design, constructed a custom seating display (in the style of one of their fav Chicago hangouts), and upgraded the reception chairs to something a bit more modern. I paired the dress with Jimmy Choo Sacaria 85 High Block heels.
The rehearsaldinner outfit was Tom Ford. The rehearsaldinner included tropical foliage: Birds of Paradise, Palmetto, Areca Palm, and Monstera. Reception floral included large groupings of lavender tulips, paired with other tropical florals. It felt very romantic in contrast with my more modern slinky gown.
For the ceremony at Rosecliff Mansion , we embraced a distinctive approach, positioning Cara & Jesse at the top of the lawn steps with the mansion as their backdrop, departing from the traditional waterfront orientation. The arch they crafted for the ceremony, adorned with cascading blooms, surpassed all expectations.
Our rehearsaldinner was the following evening out at T Lazy 7 Ranch , so we wanted our guests to have an opportunity to get a hat for the occasion. Our rehearsaldinner was at T Lazy 7 Ranch. We had live music, dinner, and drinks. Our ceremony was sweet and intimate. Our reception was so much fun!
