The bride changed into a remodeled wedding reception dress previously worn by the Bride’s mother, tailored by Delia’s Alterations in Nashville. Each cocktail napkin served was printed with one of four love letters exchanged between the bride and groom – dating back to their first date, to days before the ceremony.

She traveled from Birmingham to Charleston for this wedding. We went with pink flowers at the ceremony, then more pastel colors at the reception along with trees to bring nature into the tent. An intimate, candlelit ceremony in the May River Chapel treated guests to heartfelt vows and stunning views of the May River at the back of the chapel. The all-white design was carried into both the ceremony and reception florals, which were both filled with white blooms, local lush greenery accents, and candlelight throughout.

Guests enjoyed the ceremony from under the canopy of two custom designed large ficus trees. Later the ceremony space would be converted into a formal reception area. Guests dined under the trees and were transported into a beautiful spring garden detailed with an abundance of fresh florals. A game changer.
