Wedding Planning Tips Education is a big part of the marketing and sales process for wedding planners since you have to connect with an entirely new crop of couples year after year.
The answer is through your marketing content—specifically, educational and inspirational content on Instagram and blog posts. I used moodboards and style roundups to show my style and design chops to potential clients when I didn’t have anything else in my portfolio.
It's something I talk about from the get go during consultations, I then include moodboards and lots of imagery throughout our proposals and discuss the design from the start so my clients understand the built-in expectations that we are a design-focused planner. So it's almost built in at this point.
