They became engaged in their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, over Thanksgiving break. Knowing Kennedy would hope to celebrate with their families, this was perfect timing for Jackson, who planned the post-engagement surprise party. Bride’s Rehearsal Dinner Dress: The Bride had her late Mom’s wedding dress shortened and tailored, and the big 80s sleeves somewhat de-puffed (by about half the puffiness, but they’re still puffy!). Engagement and wedding rings were purchased at Marisa Perry in the west village of New York. Pretty wild.
