The next area that was something they knew would elevate their ceremony & reception was rented chairs. During the design part of planning, we landed on a martini room.
Charmed reception tables were set with blue glassware, bud vases, and dainty white and blue flowers. Maggie did her own hair and makeup as she tucked a few white flowers organically into her soft chignon. She also designed all of the paper goods and signage for the event. For the reception, we used the same color palette, but added in a few red blooms to coordinate with the bright red drapes in the Omni Shoreham Ballroom. She accessorized this with gloves and a more traditional, simple veil during the ceremony and surprised guests with a vintage birdcage veil during the reception.

Wonder Cake Creations Sarasota made a custom Groom’s Cake in the shape of a Cabo Arch, which featured Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Filling. Dancing started right after introductions and guests could grab their dinner whenever they pleased.

The day began with a firstlook at The Elms, the iconic Newport mansion. The transition to the reception at Eventide was nothing short of spectacular. When Casey and Kenny entered their reception, the excitement in the air was palpable. Guests marveled at the thoughtfulness and elegance in every detail.
The reception area continued this theme with long tables adorned with light pinks, gentle yellows, and vibrant oranges. For the reception, the long tables were decorated with tall candelabras, cut fruit and flowers in the wedding colours, adding a touch of romance and sophistication to the evening.

The florist created focal moments through out the venue with greenery installed to the center point Gazebo in the reception room, with a long captain style table underneath the gazebo. Reception Dress : For our reception I decided to change into a hand beaded Clio Peppiatt dress so that I could comfortably boogie on the dance floor with our guests all night long![/field] Nick and I love to try different foods, so for our reception dinner we opted for dinner stations so that guests could try more than one entree.
For our welcome party decor and florals, we wanted a traditional Italian look – checkered tablecloths, aromatic plants in terracotta pots, and fresh tomatoes. We also requested that all guest wear white, while the bride and groom wore a soft coral color. The cake was decorated with fresh flowers.
