They offered fans during the ceremony, chilled lavender-scented towels immediately after (it was HOT!), and handwritten place cards at each seat to make guests feel extra special.

As they finished up, the sun was setting on quite literally the dreariest day, and it was at that point that Justin got down on one knee and proposed. Shelby (completely unaware) with her messy bun and t-shirt dress was completely surprised. She took a road trip alone, tried on the dress, and bought it that same day.

The bride immediately clicked with Erica of Blushing Fields, a florist and passionate flower farmer. The bride says that throughout the whole process, Erica fully understood the couple’s vision, and knew how to execute it well, so it was extremely easy to trust Erica as their florist.

She agreed, driving out to spend two weeks getting to know each other. Everything was going wonderfully until Kelly’s car broke down on her drive home.

When I collated the inspiration pictures I had collected for months, I could see that they were all very floral-heavy, a very soft colour palette, and that I was really drawn to an aesthetic that had a little bit of an overgrown and rambling look to it. Although the bride had never been to Sunriver herself, seeing the photos from that wedding and hearing Joey’s family’s praise, combined with her connection with Kelsey, convinced her it would be the perfect location for their celebration with all their loved ones. It was a destination wedding for their guests and they wanted to show off the area. It included local huckleberries, bison, local salmon, and bison. At the bar, the speciality cocktail was a “Montana Mule” a traditional Moscow mule, but with huckleberries added. We kept a few more rustic elements with wood chairs and chargers.[/field]
