We had ivory with touches of blue and lavender for ceremony and for reception we showcased a lemon yellow, soft lavender and powder blue. They all held white floral bouquets and I held the opposite, an almost fully blue bouquet, which I was completely in love with. Blue flowers at blue hill in the summer just worked![/field]
Leaning into the Cinco de Mayo date, the couple welcomed guests to the reception with festive welcome shots to set a lively tone. For the reception, the menu featured thoughtfully curated dishes that complemented the garden-party atmosphere.

field] [field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]All music was played by their DJ, Neema of Bat City Beats. Her reception gown was a fitted gown that was custom made by a seller on Etsy that feature sequins and feathers. Her ceremony gown was an a-line gown feature floral detailing.
For the reception, we used the same color palette, but added in a few red blooms to coordinate with the bright red drapes in the Omni Shoreham Ballroom. She accessorized this with gloves and a more traditional, simple veil during the ceremony and surprised guests with a vintage birdcage veil during the reception.

I knew that I wouldn’t find anything I loved more, so I ordered them immediately.

The next area that was something they knew would elevate their ceremony & reception was rented chairs. During the design part of planning, we landed on a martini room.
We channeled ivories neutrals throughout for warmth, + used just a dash of gold at the reception for a touch of vintage. The most special and memorable thing for both of us was our FirstLook. For the reception I wanted to go with a more casual look that still felt bridal + modern. It was the perfect party dress![/field]
The couple chose to have their firstlook on the Palmetto Bluff property, nestled underneath the ancient oak trees and Spanish moss of the Village Park Square of the property. Like the bride, each bridesmaid carried an all-white bouquet of orchids and roses, completing their neutral yet glamorous overall look.[/field]
