field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]Wanting to lean into the summer energy, Shelby & Drew opted for a cake infused with all the good fruit flavors! Their sweetheart cake was lemon flavored, courtesy of Baked Dessert in Berlin, MD, and had a raspberry coulis filling and lemon buttercream frosting.
The palette featured greens, nudes, blushes, and whites, creating a cohesive, romantic look that flowed through every detailfrom the guests attire to the invites, signage, and even the weddingcake. These colors were incorporated in the invites, save the date, and day of details (including the cakes).[/field]
Dessert featured a buttercream weddingcake with layers of vanilla custard and strawberries, chocolate with dulce de leche, and a lemon-filled tier. field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]The cake, crafted by La Bon Bake Shoppe, was a true masterpiece, featuring vintage-inspired piping and layers of buttercream ruffles.
field] [field title=”WeddingCake”]The WeddingCake was designed and made by Marble Made Cakes. Arrangements incorporated roses, ranunculus, eucalyptus, and more. The decor included a glass shelf champagne display, parasols, and a charcuterie display at Cocktail Hour.[/field]
The couple worked with the planning team at Amanda Rose Weddings to concoct a design that was filled with candlelight, towering floral compotes of orchids, and local foliage. The chiffon fabric was perfect for the hot summer wedding day, lightweight and flowy in body, creating lots of visual movement and keeping the bridesmaids comfortable.
A hint of metallic sparkle in the soft, neutral Nuage linens added a bit of flair from the reflected light cast by graceful crystal candelabras while flickering taper candles and votives added to the gentle glow and intimate dinner party vibes.
The result was an effortlessly cohesive look, with each woman feeling confident and comfortable while the maid of honor’s dress artfully wove together the collection’s gentle hues.[/field] Through soft neutrals and subtle greens, her florals felt elevated, yet complimentary to the gorgeous mountain setting.[/field]

I figured, you might only get one opportunity (or maybe a few, no one’s counting) in your life to try on wedding dresses, so I went all out. I decided on a simple square neck, A-line design by Blue Willow from Anne Barge for my ceremony dress with a 3-tier weddingcake veil from Toni Federici.
