Guests were seated at two headtables spanning the family living room of her childhood home, and additional seating continued on both the front and back patios, as well as around the family pool. We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. With the color that came through in the floral and tables, the bride had her bridesmaids in white to create a very modern look with wedding party and ceremony moments.
The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. I wanted the greenery to look like moss coming down to fit the theme of Bald Head and the Spanish moss. We had round tables throughout for our guests with a white Chivari chair.
The off-the-shoulder sleeves made for a gorgeous photo and ceremony look, which I then snapped at the back for an off-the-shoulder cocktail hour and reception look which made for easier dancing! The headtable was a vision and was so romantic and elegant. I loved how the candles flickered in the windows behind us!
We brought in wood tables with the headtable and accented the dining tables with green napkins, gold flatware, and pink goblets. On the dining tables we went with classic garlands with pops of blooms on the long tables to tie in the greenery inside and went with stunning soft and whimsical centerpieces on the rounds.
One over the headtable & one over the incredible dancing area. Some special moments during our day was reading letters from each other earlier in the day prior to our firstlook. Our firstlook was extremely special to me as well. I also loved my firstlook with my dad.
While we ultimately felt his presence throughout the entirety of the weekend, it was nice to be able to look down at the watch and think about him.
