[section title=”The Planning”] [field title=”Wedding Colors”]Petal Pink, Pistachio, Cool Mint Green, Ivory[/field] [field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Alexandra was clear on her vision from the start: to have a reception at her parent’s home, tucked beneath Arkansas’ renowned Pinnacle Mountain.
This verdant pathway, brimming with life and beauty, will not only serve as a memorable element of the ceremony, but will also be repurposed as a gift to grace the entrance of the reception, continuing its role in enhancing the event’s overall aesthetics. In addition, we use our optic glass votives and cermainc votives.
Specialty Linens were provided by BBJ La Tavola and the reception was tented by Sperry. field] [field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The Ceremony Music was performed by SRQ Violinist. Dancing started right after introductions and guests could grab their dinner whenever they pleased.
We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. Lovelily Flowers over delivered in every area, but one of the top WOW moments was her headtable install we all dreamed up together. It was center and close to the dance floor, so it was hard to miss.
The inspiration behind them was doing an overhang over the headtable of lush pink and white flowers with greenery mixed in. I wanted the greenery to look like moss coming down to fit the theme of Bald Head and the Spanish moss. We had round tables throughout for our guests with a white Chivari chair.
The bride wanted the headtable to feel as though you were dining amongst the flowers in an upside down garden. Together, Leila James Events and Stone Blossom designed a stunning, draping delphinium installation was added over the headtable, which created an extra pop of blue to the already breathtaking surroundings.
One over the headtable & one over the incredible dancing area. My reception dress was from Dmitras Bridal.[/field] field] [field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Bridesmaid dresses from Bhldn and groomsmen looks from the Black Tux. Our firstlook was extremely special to me as well.
We brought in wood tables with the headtable and accented the dining tables with green napkins, gold flatware, and pink goblets. On the dining tables we went with classic garlands with pops of blooms on the long tables to tie in the greenery inside and went with stunning soft and whimsical centerpieces on the rounds.
Her fun reception dress was Carolina Herrera from Bergdorf Goodman. field] [field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Beautiful words of love, a special wine sharing ceremony, the stomping of the glass, and celebration! Her hair was pulled back in a timeless and elegant low bun.
The voluminous skirt was detachable so she could go from a show-stopping and romantic look at a ceremony to a chic and refined ensemble at the reception. The headtables featured white jacquard linens, a favorite textile of the brides, and the guest tables featured an ivory overlay. Guests absolutely loved it!
Beneath towering pines and oak trees, a romantic and relaxed reception awaited guests. Ample ivory arrangements elevated the open space with a floral archway over the couple’s headtable. The couple exchanged vows beneath an ivory floral archway tucked beneath the edge of a citrus orchard.
We decided on a long gold mirrored headtable for the welcome party and family surrounded by round tables in the courtyard. We wanted the cake to go along with the simple, elegant, spring theme.[/field] Permalink | Comments | Add to del.icio.us Permalink | Comments | Add to del.icio.us
Lush floral arrangements lined the aisle, to be repurposed later into the reception décor. The reception staircase was decked with repurposed greenery from the ceremony aisle arrangements combined with added florals in complementary tones. After the ceremony, he exchanged his tux jacket for a white dinner jacket and wore that for our sunset photos and the reception. Later during the reception, we passed out Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches as a late night snack, these proved a crowd favorite! We filled in a lush and long row of baby’s breath down the length of the table.
Serving as the pièce de résistance, a magnificent cascading floral runner adorned the headtable, commanding attention with its sheer beauty. field] [field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”][/field] [field title=”Special Detail #1″]Jesse and Cara were set up through their mutual friends.
Our dining tables played off of richer colors with our rentals, like our Forest Green linens, a fun patterned headtable linen, and the rich deep brown stoneware charger to bring a nod to the dark, moody vibe of the dinner barn. We then brightened it up with bold florals and deep pink candles.
At the outdoor ceremony we opted for alter ground arrangements to give the look of florals growing organically from the ground and to not take away from the view of the Sonoma hills. We also love the dual purpose that these serve in being able to move them to the reception space and give them more life! There was no shortage on sweets![/field]
We chose an all-inclusive headtable with our wedding party to allow us to take in the celebration feeling like we were amongst everyone we love. The Mixology by Melissa team ensured the cocktails were personal to us and an experience all on their own. Permalink | Comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Post categories: The Blog
Each guest was presented with bespoke menus from Peak Event Services , and the headtable featured place cards nestled within small clay potted plants, hand-lettered with guests’ names by Pretty in Ink. They departed from a boat launch at Crocker Park, crossed the harbor by boat, and arrived at their cocktail reception.
They hung chandeliers in the tree behind the headtable. They mixed vibrant fall colors and black details to create ethereal table scapes. As another fun salute to Hollywood, they framed photos of celebrities throughout history easting pasta and placed them at each table. Permalink | Comments | Add to del.icio.us
