And at every sister’s wedding, they wanted a headtable to be able to share their first married meal with their family! The headtable had place settings set with Heidi’s mother’s china!
Guests were seated at two headtables spanning the family living room of her childhood home, and additional seating continued on both the front and back patios, as well as around the family pool.[/field] She prepared a family style dinner to be served to each table, featuring the bride and groom’s favorite dishes.
While our groom described himself as a “Jeans and a T-Shirt” type of guy, our bride loved all things rich textures, velvet, and dressing up which led us to a day where casual & comfortable met formal & fancy.

There was a fun element where the groom’s father sang some songs with the band. We had a drumline rev things up and even had the groom participate as he was formerly in a marching band. Every bridesmaid was able to choose which dress fit their preferences the best to ensure that everyone felt beautiful.

The group understood the (non) assignment, as it came together seamlessly![/field]
field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Groomsmen attire was quite the topic of discussion! She even sourced gorgeous silk white bows for the inner ceremony seats that were later moved to the headtable. With our wedding being a pink and navy affair, I wanted them to stand out in style.
Totally worth it, especially the flowers above the headtable and the stage. With the help of Claudia and Pamela (our amazing wedding planners), we were able to make the vision come to life. Our biggest splurge on the wedding day was the flowers! The flowers really tied together the entire wedding design.
We brought in lucite/acrylic in with the chairs, headtable “acrylic” place mats, and lucite napkin rings. Lovelily Flowers over delivered in every area, but one of the top WOW moments was her headtable install we all dreamed up together. LBV Design House brought our vision to life flawlessly.

We brought in wood tables with the headtable and accented the dining tables with green napkins, gold flatware, and pink goblets. field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]The grooms all wore Hugo Boss custom tuxedos. We used the natural wood and landscaping of the venue to lead our design.
field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]The groom and groomsmen looked timeless in dashing black tuxedos from Culwell & Sons. The groom, who also loved the look of a white dinner jacket, opted for a jacket change before entering the reception! Her incredible work is being passed on to Emma.
field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Rob, unlike most grooms, was VERY involved! We also knew that we wanted one VERY LONG headtable where we were surrounded by all of our closest friends and family — one long table with about 50 people & it was PERFECT!

The headtables featured white jacquard linens, a favorite textile of the brides, and the guest tables featured an ivory overlay. The structure over the headtable was a little something special for the bride and groom and wedding party. Her fun reception dress was Carolina Herrera from Bergdorf Goodman. They brought our vision to life perfectly, it was a design request from the start of planning and really set the tone for the reception.

The bride stunned in her embroidered mini Zimmerman dress and the groom looked suave in his Suit Supply garb. field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]The Black Tux made the process of finding Matt’s Contrast Shawl Jacket Tuxedo a breeze. They hung chandeliers in the tree behind the headtable.
Hers: Skinny Margarita & His: Vodka, ginger ale, lemon & lime or as the groom likes to call it, his “Golf Cocktail.” The headtable was the focal point of the reception flowers featured a lush table runner of florals, greenery & taper candles. They were slim fit with a tied bow across the chest!
We chose an all-inclusive headtable with our wedding party to allow us to take in the celebration feeling like we were amongst everyone we love. The Mixology by Melissa team ensured the cocktails were personal to us and an experience all on their own. For us, our ceremony had to accomplish two things in this regard.

The groom proposed in Charleston, SC shortly before the pair graduated college.[/field] The Taylor Swift-inspired butterfly cake on the headtable was the crown jewel among cake pops, macaroons, cookie bars and even more cakes! The bride’s love for Taylor Swift also had its moments throughout the day too![/field]

Their cake was a spectacular six layers with floral cascade that mimicked the cascades on the headtable. He had the most thoughtful touches.

I loved the dainty and ethereal look of baby’s breath, which we incorporated into my bridesmaids bouquets, headtable runner and some tall “cloud” like table arrangements.
field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]For the ceremony, J.R. The room was flipped during cocktail time, so when you re-entered the reception, a long headtable sat where the original aisle was during the ceremony. We filled in a lush and long row of baby’s breath down the length of the table.
field] [field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Groomsman Attire: Black tie. The groom’s tuxedo was custom made in Boston and the groomsmen rented similar looking tuxedos from Jos. The focal point of the ceremony was the stunning floral arbor, which continued to dazzle guests behind the bride and groom at the headtable.
Anything that I could have dream up in my head was right in front of me, so we just built upon it from the pocket gardens on the headtable to the greenery attached to all of the existing bistro lights. Wrap it around the bouquets, use to decorate the wedding cake or memory table or use the backdrop for details shots.
